Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 implementation of the individual's Behavioral Support Plan under the supervision and oversight of a Behavioral Consultant.
  • Deliver acute, short-term behavioral interventions to address identified challenging behaviors that pose a risk to the individual's health and safety and/or the safety of others. Maintain focus on immediate stabilization, safety, and risk reduction during behavioral episodes.
  • Support individuals transitioning from institutional settings or at risk of institutional placement.
  • Utilize approved crisis intervention strategies, with Safety Care and/or TCI approaches recommended at the time of enrollment.
  • Provide Behavioral Line Services in the individual's home and/or in community-based settings, including day programs, by supporting the individual and assisting program staff in maintaining safety and implementing behavioral strategies.
