Job description

RideNow Powersports McDonough, a recognized leader in the powersports industry, is seeking a high-performing, strategic, and driven Sales Manager to take charge of sales operations in our dealership. This is a critical leadership position for an experienced professional who excels in leading teams, scaling performance, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide strong leadership to a team of sales professionals-coaching, mentoring, and holding the team accountable to performance metrics and sales targets.
  • Implement data-driven sales strategies to consistently drive growth in unit volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to final delivery, ensuring an exceptional customer experience at every step.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent with a focus on performance, product knowledge, and dealership standards.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels and vehicle merchandising in coordination with purchasing and operations.
  • Actively manage the sales pipeline and CRM to ensure follow-up, lead conversion, and timely deal closures.
  • Serve as the escalation point for customer issues, ensuring fast and fair resolution that protects the brand and the dealership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Service and Parts departments to drive overall dealership success.
  • Stay current on industry trends, OEM programs, product updates, and competitive activity.

What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of sales management experience in a high-volume dealership environment (Powersports, Automotive, RV, or Marine).
  • A proven record of exceeding sales targets and leading high-performance teams.
  • Deep understanding of deal structuring, finance products, inventory control, and pipeline management.
  • Experience with CRM systems and dealership sales software (e.g., DealerSocket, VAuto, Lightspeed, CDK, or similar).
  • Strong business acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills-with customers, employees, and leadership.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to safely push motorcycles weighing up to 850lbs
  • Must be able to safely and efficiently move through the dealership premises-including indoor showrooms, vehicle lots, and service areas-while maintaining awareness of moving vehicles, customer foot traffic, and showroom displays.
