Alphanumeric is hiring a Functional Consultant - Level 3 (Senior Cloud Engineer) to work in Upper Providence (Collegeville), PA with our client of over 20 years, a global leader dedicated to improving lives through medical and pharmaceutical innovation.


Pay Range: $80 - $90/hour (Note: we are unable to accept applicants from 3rd party agencies for this role. All applicants must be able to work on W2 without the need for sponsorship now or in the future).

We're looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer who thrives in a collaborative Agile environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges while mentoring others and promoting engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, architect, and implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-based solutions
  • Translate business and technical requirements into well-designed, production-ready systems
  • Champion cloud engineering best practices with a strong focus on security, reliability, and scalability
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Drive continuous improvement by adopting modern cloud technologies and engineering practices
  • Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture through knowledge sharing and teamwork

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
  • 8-10 years of experience designing and developing cloud-based solutions
  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred; Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience will also be considered
  • Proven software engineering experience (this is a software engineering-focused role)
  • Experience managing infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
