We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our customers and help ensure a smooth experience from the initial phone call through service completion.

Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative plays a key role in supporting daily operations by answering customer inquiries, scheduling service appointments, coordinating technician visits, and providing outstanding communication throughout the customer journey.

The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment. You will work closely with customers, plumbers, dispatchers, and management to ensure every customer receives timely and courteous support.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls and respond to service requests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Schedule plumbing service appointments and coordinate technician availability.
• Gather accurate customer information, including contact details, service needs, property information, and urgency of requests.
• Communicate appointment confirmations, updates, delays, and follow-ups with customers.
• Dispatch and coordinate plumbing technicians based on job priority, location, and availability.
• Provide customers with clear information regarding service processes, scheduling, and next steps.
• Maintain accurate customer records, service notes, and appointment details in company systems.
• Assist with customer follow-ups, reviews, and satisfaction checks.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Support office operations including invoicing assistance, data entry, and administrative tasks.
• Maintain a positive customer experience that reflects Goodson Plumbing Services’ commitment to quality and professionalism.

QualificationsRequired:

• Previous customer service, call center, scheduling, dispatch, or administrative experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional and friendly phone presence.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn scheduling/customer management software.

Preferred:

• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, construction, or home service industries.
• Experience with dispatching field technicians.
• Knowledge of service scheduling software or CRM systems.
• Experience handling emergency service calls.
