Purpose & Scope

The IT Cloud Architect is responsible for providing architecting and managing the Cloud Eco-system at Tennant. As a member of IT Team, in this role you’ll take the lead in all aspects of the Cloud solutions architecture effort to ensure success in platform management and migration journey

  • Designing Cloud Infrastructure: Creating scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions, including network architecture and managed databases.
  • Migration and Implementation: Leading the transition of on-premises applications to the cloud, including designing migration roadmaps
  • Security and Compliance: Ensuring all systems adhere to security standards and regulatory requirements
  • Performance & Cost Optimization: Monitoring and optimizing cloud performance to ensure cost-efficiency and efficiency
  • Collaboration: Working with developers and IT teams to guide implementation and provide technical documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications

Cloud Platforms: Expert knowledge of at least one major provider (Microsoft Azure, exposure to AWS, CCP is added advantage).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Go, Ruby, or Node.js), DevOps tools (Kubernetes, Docker), and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
Experience: 10 - 15 years of experience including cloud security, network design, and application development experience.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to bridge technical and business requirements.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Additional Qualifications

Exposure to Application Solutions in SAP Cloud Hosted, Microsoft Application platforms
Proficiency with migration of Legacy Applications to Cloud solutions

Proficiency in leveraging AI tools will be an added advantage with Co-Pilot, Joule, Claude, Perplexity etc.,

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $132,400 - $205,100

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Sales and Service Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
