We're not rockstars or ninjas, just a team of developers working to make life a little easier for doctors and their patients. Our platform, built on a Ruby on Rails API with AngularJS and React front-end, helps our clients manage appointments, track drug inventory, send reminders, and handle insurance claims. We deploy on AWS and are continuing to scale.
We're looking for a QA Engineer to help us grow and strengthen our infrastructure, streamline our development processes, and support our engineering team. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities that will keep the work engaging and provide continuous opportunities to grow and develop your skills.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand requirements and define test plans.
  • Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API applications.
  • Identify, document, and track software bugs, ensuring clear communication with developers.
  • Participate in code reviews and sprint planning to advocate for quality from the start.
  • Define and improve QA processes, tools, and metrics as the team and product scale.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years of QA or software testing experience.
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies, QA processes, and defect tracking.
  • Experience in manual and automated testing.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where you'll wear multiple hats.
  • Bonus: experience in medical software.

Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000 per year
