Job Description

Justworks is seeking a front-end engineer to join our team. As a successful candidate you have demonstrated experience in building, deploying and maintaining large-scale, javascript-driven applications. You are comfortable with both "vanilla" Javascript and libraries like React, Angular, or Backbone.
We work primarily in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript, but prior knowledge of Ruby on Rails is not a requirement. You should have a deep understanding of programming that goes beyond the ability to use these tools.
What you'll do:
-Build javascript-driven, customer-facing interfaces
-Work with the product team to create a simple, intuitive experience
-Evaluate development tools and making architectural decisions
-Keep extremely sensitive data compartmentalized and secure
-Recruit world-class talent to our team

Qualifications

Who you are:
-Minimum of 3 years of professional hands-on experience
-Strong object-oriented design and coding skills
-Working knowledge of server-side programing languages (PHP, Ruby, Python, Java, etc)
-Experience with at least one front-end javascript framework (React, Angular, Backbone, etc)
-Strong CSS skills
-Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
