Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a skilled Software Developer with GIS expertise to join our dynamic development team at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, with a focus on geospatial applications and solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects while utilizing modern technologies and best practices. We provide a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.
The Software Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications with a strong emphasis on geospatial technologies, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Design, code, test, and debug software applications
  • Develop and maintain GIS applications using ESRI technologies
  • Collaborate with team members on software design and code reviews
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects
  • Document technical specifications and maintain software documentation
  • Participate in Agile development processes including daily stand-ups and sprint planning

Education and Experience:
