We are currently seeking a Rail Construction Management Senior Inspector to join our Philadelphia area team.
Position Overview
As a Rail CM Senior Inspector, you will oversee construction inspection for rail and transit systems, ensuring compliance with design plans, specifications, and safety standards. This role involves leadership, mentorship, and coordination with engineers, construction managers, and clients to maintain quality control and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise construction inspection of rail systems, including track, signals, traction power, and related infrastructure.
  • Ensure contractor compliance with design plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Lead and mentor inspection staff to maintain consistent reporting and documentation standards.
  • Coordinate with project engineers, construction managers, and client representatives to resolve field issues.
  • Prepare and submit daily inspection reports, photo documentation, and field observations.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and quality control throughout construction activities.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance on construction inspection.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or related discipline)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in rail/transit construction inspection or field engineering
  • EIT, CCM, or Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Strong knowledge of rail infrastructure components, construction methods, and safety standards

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
