About this Opportunity
As a Senior Software Developer, Web Application, you will join a cross-functional scrum team that values achieving goals as well as continuous product and team improvements. You will use Ruby on Rails, Node, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL to build engaging user experiences backed by scalable, high-performance code.
What you'll do:
  • Design and develop robust full-stack solutions
  • Work in a cross-functional scrum team to achieve regular sprint goals
  • Mentor and review the code of more junior team members
  • Embrace software development best practices such as TDD, documentation, design patterns, secure coding, and algorithmic optimization

What you've done:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Required: 7+ years of full-stack, web application development experience
  • Required: 2+ years using SQL and NoSQL technologies
  • Required: Strong skills in Ruby on Rails, algorithms, and data structures
  • Required: Implementing and troubleshooting high-usage, high-throughput systems, including ElasticSearch and SEO.
  • Required: Experience working in an organization that operates by Agile methodology and the Scrum framework.
  • Required: Experience developing with cloud services (AWS), search technologies (ElasticSearch), and optimization (SEO).
  • Prefer experience with services, microservices, and serverless environments
