Job description

You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Aviation Division, FMS Operations Department, of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.Qualifications:I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal service or equivalent in the private sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ability to direct complex Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or USN/USMC aviation support through Integrated Logistical Support (ILS) Planning and lifecycle Product Support and Sustainment, including managing Repair of Repairables (RoR) to meet international partner readiness goals; 2) Managing Human Resources by leading, assigning work, and evaluating a team of logistics professionals; 3) Problem Solving capabilities to resolve non-precedented logistics challenges, and the Influencing/Negotiating skills required to defend decisions and build consensus among NAVAIR, foreign customers, and industry stakeholders. Finally, applicants must demonstrate high-level; 4) Managing program resources, budgets, and operational decisions that directly impact global mission success and regional security.
