Job Summary

The Process Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement in PVC extrusion processing and manufacturing operations. This role ensures quality standards for raw materials and finished goods, conducts testing to meet customer and regulatory requirements, and designs and documents experiments to optimize processes. The position supports operational efficiency, safety, and product innovation through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Job Location

  • This is an onsite role based in Brooksville, FL.   

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in processing, establishing standards and procedures for continuous improvement

  • Provide training and mentorship to colleagues on engineering processing techniques

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve corporate goals and operational excellence

  • Support new product development, including color and strength qualifications

  • Evaluate, implement, and monitor manufacturing processes and operating systems

  • Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation and process guidelines

  • Monitor and improve efficiency, output, and safety through data analysis and observations

  • Collect and interpret data from technical and operating personnel to identify improvement opportunities

  • Work closely with quality, engineering, inventory, and production teams to streamline processes and enhance quality control

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering discipline preferred

  • Strong knowledge of engineering technology and processing

  • Familiarity with ASTM testing standards preferred

  • Experience in quality and manufacturing environments

  • Lean manufacturing knowledge preferred

  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills; willing to support all shifts

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to take initiative

  • Proven ability to lead teams in reducing inefficiencies such as scrap reduction/elimination
