Collaborating closely with in-house developers and participating in regular stand-ups or code reviews can also smooth the transition and ensure alignment with project goals.

To thrive as a Ruby on Rails Contractor, you need strong proficiency in Ruby, Rails framework, web development fundamentals, and experience with relational databases, typically demonstrated through a portfolio or relevant work history. Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently are standout soft skills for this role.
