Job description

Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Inside Sales Representative is to support Outside Sales Representatives and assist phone and walk-in customers to build trust, confidence, and lasting business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer orders in the system and coordinate with dispatch for truck deliveries.
  • Manage rail delivery orders, coordinate with loading supervisors, and liaise with railroad services for deliveries.
  • Assist contract truck drivers with order pick-ups by generating loading tickets.
  • Provide support to phone and walk-in customers by answering product inquiries, processing orders, and issuing loading tickets or payment receipts.
  • Verify brick availability through inventory systems and communicate with loading yard supervisors for accuracy.
  • Notify customers when orders are ready and coordinate delivery logistics by truck or rail.
  • Compile data, prepare reports, and handle routine correspondence.

Work Schedule:
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM.
  • Flexibility may be needed for extended hours during events like yearly inventory.

Work Environment:
This is a professional office-based role using standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and copiers.
Physical Demands:
The role requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and using hands to handle or feel. Regular communication is essential, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs may be required.
