Forward Traffic & Marking is looking to connect with dedicated and skilled Pavement Marking Operators for future opportunities supporting road construction projects across Wisconsin.

Locations: Madison, New Berlin, Stevens Point, and Cadott

Forward Traffic & Marking is proud to be an operating company of Road Safety Services (RSS), one of North America's leading providers of pavement marking and traffic control services.

What You'll Do
  • Install, maintain, and repair pavement markings throughout Wisconsin.
  • Prepare work areas and transport pavement marking materials.
  • Operate pavement marking equipment, including epoxy striping, thermoplastic, MMA, and permanent tape.
  • Follow engineering plans to ensure precise application and meet industry standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and assist with roadway marking layouts.
  • Perform routine maintenance and daily inspections on equipment and vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate job logs and meet project deadlines.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding project progress and company procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.
What We're Looking For
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must always maintain a valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
  • Ability to maintain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (FEDMED) in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Ability obtain a Class B CDL license within 12 months of employment in the position (may require Hazmat and Tanker endorsement).
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repetitively, reach overhead, bend, kneel and twist.
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment and extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to walk long distances consistently and drive for extended periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, nights, weekends, and travel overnight for extended periods of time.
  • Willingness to work in a potentially dangerous environment near traffic.
