RPA, or Robotic Process Automation, is a technology that uses software robots or 'bots' to automate repetitive and rule-based tasks usually performed by humans in business processes. These bots can mimic human actions such as logging into applications, entering data, and processing transactions, which helps organizations increase efficiency, reduce errors, and save time. RPA is widely used across various industries to streamline operations, improve accuracy, and allow employees to focus on more strategic work.

Previous experience programming or analyzing data is essential, and language skills in C++, Java, Python, and enterprise application software such as SAP are necessary for most jobs in RPA.
