Job description

Position summary

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the finance team, reporting directly to a Fractional CFO (currently engaged on a fractional basis). The role has an explicit growth path: the analyst is expected to be ready to step into the Controller role within approximately 3 months, once ownership of the network's closing, control, and reporting processes has been demonstrated.

This is a key position for a growing multi-site organization, with direct exposure to senior leadership and participation in structural decisions (ERP, KPIs, budget, management control model).

Key responsibilities

Budgeting and financial planning

  • Actively participate in the annual budgeting process and in rolling forecast updates.
  • Build and maintain financial models by location and by physician/provider (revenue, costs, EBITDA).
  • Support scenario modeling for new openings / joint ventures.

Management control

  • Variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. forecast) at the consolidated level and by location.
  • Monitor cash flow and the evolution of accounts receivable (particularly relevant given the weight of insurance-related collections and medical billing regulation).
  • Track profitability by physician/provider and by business unit.

KPIs and dashboards

  • Identify and define financial and operational KPIs relevant to a multi-site network.
  • Design, build, and maintain management dashboards for periodic reporting to leadership.

ERP migration

  • Actively participate in the ERP migration project (transition from the current system to a more robust platform), including chart-of-accounts mapping, validation of migrated data, testing, and process documentation.
  • Support integration between the ERP and the clinical management system (EHR) used by the network.
  • Help design the new chart of accounts and the multi-entity/multi-location reporting structure in the new system.
  • Accounting close and reporting
  • Support the monthly close and the preparation of financial statements by location and on a consolidated basis.
  • Prepare periodic reporting for leadership and, eventually, for third parties (investors, banks, auditors).

Growth path to Controller (target: 3 months)

Promotion to Controller will be subject to demonstrated:

  • End-to-end ownership of the multi-location monthly close process.
  • Operational leadership of the new ERP post-migration (administration, internal controls, training other users).
  • Autonomy in building and maintaining the defined KPI/dashboard set.
  • Ability to run the budgeting process with decreasing CFO supervision.

Requirements

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting roles, ideally with exposure to multi-site or multi-entity environments.
  • Prior experience in ERP implementation or migration projects.
  • Experience in healthcare services or business models based on professional providers with variable compensation schemes is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • CPA or currently pursuing CPA certification.

Technical skills

  • Advanced Excel (financial modeling, dashboards).
  • ERP experience, prior hands-on experience with NetSuite OneWorld or Sage Intacct is especially valued.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP.
  • BI tools is a plus.

Soft skills

  • Comfortable working in a growth-stage environment with processes still being built and shifting priorities.
  • Strong execution orientation and ownership mindset, given the explicit growth path to Controller.
  • Good communication with non-financial stakeholders (physicians, location-level operations).

Reports to CFO (currently engaged on a fractional/part-time basis)

Location / Work arrangement: Palm Beach (headquarters)

Compensation is competitive and based on experience, comprising both a fixed salary and a variable incentive.
