Join Our Team - Rover Security Officer (High-Profile Property)
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and highly motivated Rover Security Officer to join our team at a prestigious high-rise office property. This dynamic role is essential to maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment for tenants, guests, and staff.
The Rover Officer is responsible for conducting patrols throughout the property-including parking areas, exterior perimeters, and interior spaces-while also providing relief coverage for on-site officers during breaks or absences. This position requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to de-escalate situations while adhering to established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular and thorough patrols of parking garages, exterior perimeters, and interior floors
  • Monitor and control access to ensure only authorized individuals enter the property
  • Provide coverage for officers during breaks, shift changes, or absences
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and service requests
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and daily activities
  • Communicate effectively with team members, property management, and building personnel
  • Follow all site-specific procedures, post orders, and company policies
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional security experience (commercial or high-rise preferred)
  • Must reside within 20 miles of ZIP code 77079
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement (preferred but not required)
