ROLE DESCRIPTION 

As a Trim Carpenter / Cabinet Installer your primary responsibility will be on-site field operations including executing all in-field systems and processes. In many cases, you will act as the first on-site representative of the company.  There must be an open line of communication between this role and the office coordinator, production manager, and the General Manager.  We ask that you help promote a desired company culture. This role reports to the Production Manager.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Include but not limited to:

  • Daily communication flow with office coordinator, production manager, builders, finishers, and general manager
  • Learn and ensure execution of all cabinet removal and intake systems and processes
  • Supervise other cabinet technicians on projects
  • Cabinet removal, pick-up, delivery and installation
  • Cabinet clean and touch up
  • Cabinet assembly
  • Customer interaction, customer service mindset always
  • Identify and solve any onsite problems that arise
  • Promote safe work environment at all times. 
  • Strictly adhere to all safety requirements and procedures.
  • Safely utilize cabinet building related equipment and machinery including table saws, miter saws, routers, sanders, power tools, dust collection, etc.
  • Provide coaching and direction to assisting technician
  • Ensure job sites and customer’s property is kept clean, safe, and organized before, during, after your time on-site.
  • Act as primary project lead on job sites providing supervision to technicians
  • Some time will be spent in shop, but majority of your day will be out in field
  • Receive signed work authorizations and certificate of satisfactions from customers
  • Provide the necessary documentation associated with each job
  • Utilize and become proficient in DASH job management system from your mobile device
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:
  • Attention to detail, timeliness, organized, and customer-focused
  • Experience in on-site construction, remodeling, or renovation
  • Experience interacting with customers on job sites
  • Experience in installation of cabinets, trim, case goods, or other finish carpentry
Preferred:
  • 3+ years experience in installation, insurance claims, construction, remodeling, renovation, home services, cabinetry, furniture, or wood working
