Job description

CC Camera Installer is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV surveillance systems for commercial clients. The role involves technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work on‑site to ensure security systems operate effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Install CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related security equipment
• Configure network settings for IP cameras and remote viewing
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance
• Run and manage cabling (coaxial, Ethernet, fiber depending on system)
• Mount cameras in optimal locations for coverage and performance
• Ensure installations comply with safety and quality standards
• Provide user training on system operation and mobile/PC access
• Diagnose and repair faulty equipment or wiring
• Maintain documentation of installations and service reports
• Collaborate with clients to understand security needs and recommend solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Prior experience in CCTV installation or low‑voltage electrical work
• Knowledge of CCTV systems (analog, IP, wireless)
• Understanding of networking basics (LAN, WAN, routers, switches)
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
