Route Sales Representatives (RSRs) are responsible for delivering products to customers along a designated route, often restocking shelves, rotating products, and building relationships with store managers. They also manage inventory, handle payments, and ensure that displays are attractive and well-stocked. RSRs work for companies in industries such as food and beverage, snack foods, or other consumer goods. Their role is crucial for maintaining sales, customer satisfaction, and expanding product presence in retail locations.

What are some common challenges faced by route sales representatives RSRs and how can they be managed?

Route Sales Representatives often juggle multiple responsibilities, such as managing delivery schedules, building customer relationships, and meeting sales targets. Additionally, adapting to unexpected situations, like traffic delays or last-minute order changes, is crucial for success in this fast-paced role.

Job description

Responsive recruiter
Benefits:
  • Bonus based on performance
  • Flexible schedule
  • Free uniforms
  • Opportunity for advancement
  • Paid time off
  • Training & development

Are you a self-starter who wants to control your own income?
Fish Window Cleaning is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to grow our commercial client base in the Las Vegas area. This is a territory-building role - you'll be out in the field, meeting business owners and property managers face to face, writing estimates on the spot, and closing your own accounts.
What the job actually looks like:
  • Monday-Friday, daytime hours only - no nights, no weekends
  • You set your own daily route and manage your own pipeline
  • Most of your sales will come from consistent follow-up, not one-call closes
  • Uniforms and training provided

What you'll earn:
  • This is a straight-commission role after a 2-week paid training period ($14/hr while you learn)
  • After that: $3 per estimate written, plus 10% commission on every sale - no base, no cap
  • Reps who hit the weekly standard (75 estimates, $3,000 in sales) typically run $500-800/week

What we're looking for:
  • Comfortable talking to strangers and asking for the business
  • Organized enough to follow up consistently - this is where the money is made
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

New to sales? Good
  • We're not necessarily looking for someone who's already done this - we're looking for someone who'll learn it.
  • Cold outreach and follow-through are two of the hardest skills to teach and two of the most valuable to have. Master them here and you'll never be stuck - outside sales, account management, running your own business someday, all of it draws on exactly what you'll build in this role. Whatever else you do next, this job pays you in more than a paycheck.

Why Fish Window Cleaning:
  • Established brand with a proven system
  • You'll leave with a skill that's rare and resume-worthy - most people never learn to prospect cold and close. You will.
  • You're not selling a commodity - most businesses have never been approached about professional window cleaning
  • Flexible schedule, low competition territory

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
Fish Window Cleaning has grown to be the world's largest window cleaning company with more than 250 franchise territories in 43 states, yet we still maintain the traditional values we were founded on. We will always treat every customer as though they are our only customer.
Since its inception over three decades ago, Fish Window Cleaning has been dedicated to being a considerate and respectable neighbor in the communities where we work and live. FISH partners with nonprofit organizations on an ongoing basis to support causes across the United States. Through volunteering, leadership, and charitable giving, FISH lives its mission to be the best and most respected window cleaning company in the world.
We are looking for courteous, self- motivated and friendly individuals that pay attention to detail. We clean glass at commercial and residential locations; including retail locations, office buildings, and malls from 1 to 3 stories. Some ladder work, travel between jobs, and minimal paperwork are required. You need reliable transportation, proof of insurance, and a valid driver's license to be considered for employment.
Thank you for your interest in Fish Window Cleaning ®. Fish Window Cleaning is a franchise. All Fish Window Cleaning locations are independently owned and operated. By clicking the apply button you understand that you are not applying to Fish Window Cleaning but rather an independent company that does business as Fish Window Cleaning.
