We're looking for a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team at our Brookhaven, United States location (975 Brookway Blvd). In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages and goods to customers while maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to ensuring on-time deliveries while representing our organization positively in the community.

  • Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies
  • Plan and execute optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
  • Load, unload, and secure packages and goods in the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and protection
  • Deliver packages to customers at designated locations and obtain required signatures or confirmations
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, including timestamps, customer information, and any delivery exceptions
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance issues and report them promptly
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, handling complaints professionally, and maintaining a positive demeanor
  • Navigate using GPS and mapping systems to locate delivery addresses and manage time effectively
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or any issues encountered during routes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role
  • Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and mobile delivery applications
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and ability to perform routine inspections
