As a Route Optimizer, you'll be the behind-the-scenes force that ensures our vending and refreshment routes run smoothly, efficiently, and profitably.
What You'll Do:
As a critical member of our operations team, you'll:
  • Analyze daily route performance to spot improvement opportunities
  • Schedule efficient vending and refreshment service routes to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor fleet vehicle compliance and GPS tracking systems (Azuga) to ensure route adherence
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate maintenance for card reader issues and vending machine operations
  • Optimize product quantities and par levels to reduce waste and manage inventory
  • Maintain route accountability for cash handling and product over/short discrepancies
  • Conduct weekly truck inventories and oversee accurate asset tracking
  • Approve sandwich menus based on customer preferences and stock levels
  • Lead monthly CHAT meetings to review route performance and drive improvements
  • Support the onboarding process by training new operations team members
  • Adjust changer usage and monitor cloud compliance for vending systems
  • Follow up on compliance reports and inspections to ensure standards are met

What You Bring to the Table:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in logistics, route planning, or operations (vending or field service experience a plus)
  • Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with fleet management systems and route planning software
