Looking ahead, we are preparing for subsurface field tests in early 2026, supported by our supportive technical partners. 

About the Job 

We are looking for an experienced general laborer with 1-2 years of field operations. This position provides general labor support to small-scale test well operations (up to 400 ft) by assisting with equipment handling, material movement, and site upkeep. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and capable of working in outdoor field environments.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled general laborer to perform field deployment operations in Massachusetts. You will be deploying and operating equipment as prescribed in operating and testing procedures following company and industry safety protocols. The location of the job is in the Uptown, MA area. This opportunity will be a contract position with a variable schedule up to two weeks on two weeks off role with up to 8-hour working days. This role will start as early as January 26th. The role is expected to last through end of July. Pay will be between $25 - $30 per hour plus overtime for skilled and $20/hr unskilled.

Responsibilities: 

       Provide site preparation support and cleanup. This may require lifting equipment greater than 50 pounds.

       Safely load, unload, and move materials, pipes, and equipment around the site.

       Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

       Assist crews with staging and organizing tools and supplies.

       Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including waste removal and housekeeping.

       Provide on-site data collection support, such as logging and recording data into Excel or field notebooks. 

       Conduct supply procurements for day-to-day operations.

       Perform manual labor using tools.

       Follow instructions from supervisors and support general operational tasks.

       Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all H SE (Health, Safety, Environment) protocols.

Requirements

Required qualifications:

       Safety-first mindset.

       Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

       1-2 years of experience as a roustabout, general laborer, or equivalent field operations.

       Ability to work in outdoor, physically demanding environments.

       Fluent in English 

       High school diploma or equivalent.

       Willingness to take initiative, problem solve, and be a team player.

Preferred qualifications: 

       Previous experience supporting small-scale test well operations.

       Basic knowledge of site logistics and materials management.

       Telehandler, skid steer, forklift, or other heavy equipment operation experience.

       American Red Cross CPR and AED 

       OSHA 10 or 30 Hour Training
