Position Overview: A Millwork Moulder Operator is responsible for setting up and operating wood moulding machines to produce various millwork products. This role is vital in shaping wood stock into various profiles for millwork applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup: Prepare the moulder by setting it up according to specifications. Adjust feed rates, cutter heads, and other parameters to achieve the desired profile for the wood stock.
Operation and Monitoring: Feed wood stock into the moulder and monitor the production process. Ensure the machine operates smoothly, making necessary adjustments as needed.
Quality Control: Inspect finished workpieces for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards. Check for smoothness, depth-of-cut, and conformity to specifications.
Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts. Ensure the machinery is in optimal working condition to avoid production downtime.
