Position: Under the supervision of the Head Coach -JC Volleyball, the Assistant Coach – JC Volleyball, and the HPER instructor, assist in coaching and supporting NMMI’s intercollegiate volleyball program, operating under the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I bylaws and regulations; perform other duties as assigned. This is an exempt, 12-month, full-time position. Salary will be based on level of education and experience. The job description is available upon request.
Tasks:
Assist with organizing and preparing schedules.
Assist with organizing and conducting individual and team practices, training, and competition.
Assist with recruiting student-athletes in accordance with NJCAA rules and regulations through scouting, attending tournaments, and home visits.
Assist with the coordination of all strategic aspects of the Bronco volleyball program.
Represent the Bronco volleyball program to various institutional programs, externally to the media, government agencies, students, parents, and the general public.
Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of NJCAA regulations and guidelines governing the retention of student-athletes.

Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a related field of discipline or the ability to obtain a bachelor’s degree within two (2) years.
Experience playing or Coaching College Volleyball in a Military School.
Preferred:
Master's degree in a related field or discipline.
Five to seven years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
