TMS is currently looking for a Truck Driver at our Cleveland, OH location.
Schedule: Rotating 12hr shifts / 4 on 4 off
Pay: $21/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Haul truck within the steel mill.
- Transport materials such as scrap metal, slag, and steel products to appropriate areas.
- Ensure all machines and equipment are properly maintained and report any malfunctions.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as fueling and cleaning equipment.
- Ability to clearly communicate over 2-way radio with other operators in and around working areas.
- Ability to work rotating 12 hr. shifts Nights and Weekends included.
- Work closely with TMS supervisors, maintenance teams, and safety personnel to address any issues or improvements.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret safety manuals and conduct pre and post operational walk arounds.
- Basic math skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to use a smart tablet for all aspects of the job.
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work.
