Job description

Job Title: Rotational Molding Machine Operator

Job Description

The Rotational Molding Machine Operator oversees the daily operation of a rotational molding machine and oven, including setting up molds, conducting changeovers, and ensuring products meet established quality and operating standards. This role involves operating a crane to position molds, using hand and power tools for adjustments and trimming, and troubleshooting mechanical issues with the machine and oven to maintain efficient and safe production.

Responsibilities

  • Run and monitor the molding machine and oven to keep production moving smoothly.
  • Use a crane to safely move molds in and out of the oven.
  • Set up machines and change molds when switching to different products.
  • Fix basic machine and equipment problems to reduce downtime.
  • Use hand tools and power tools for adjustments, maintenance, and finishing products.
  • Check finished products to make sure they meet quality standards.
  • Follow work instructions and production schedules to meet daily goals.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Work with supervisors and team members to address equipment or production issues.
  • Follow all safety rules when operating machinery, cranes, ovens, and tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
