We are a leading industrial mechanical, electrical, and civil construction services provider for the fossil and nuclear power, pulp and paper, chemical, mining, and general manufacturing industries. We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services.

Job Summary

MOR PPM Inc. is seeking Mechanical Multi-Craft workers in Aiken, SC.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Partner with Engineering team to install, test, and release equipment
  • Knowledge of recording activities in a CMMS
  • Maintain equipment for industrial production, industrial processing, pipeline distribution systems, and conveyors
  • Various PLC's
  • Networking and Communications: EtherNet / IP, ControlNet, and DeviceNet
  • AC Drives, Motors, Encoder and Resolver troubleshooting
  • Calibration of flow, level, pressure, and temperature devices and loops
  • Familiar with bearings, conveying systems, gearboxes, equipment rebuilds, and repairs.
  • Familiar with automation and distributed control system architectures within manufacturing and processing systems.
  • Familiar with hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and rotating equipment.
  • Read and use blueprints, schematics, manuals, technical drawings, work orders, test results, machine error messages.
  • Inspect parts for damage/wear
  • Test and observe running machinery
  • Use hoists and lifts, grinders, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, testing equipment, etc.
Qualifications
  • Associates degree in Electronics, General Technology, Robotics or related field and at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • OR
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program and at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience OR At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
  • May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds 
  • Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
  • Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
  • Must have full range of motion consistent with age
  • Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders 
  • Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises 
  • Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces 
  • Safety/Steel toe shoes are required
