Job description

Position Overview

Engtal is seeking an experiencedMaintenance Technician to support its coil coating operation in Fairland, IN. This is a 100% hands-on, floor-based maintenance role supporting production equipment and plant utilities in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical maintenance background while also being mechanically capable of troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.

Schedule
  • 3rd Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

  • 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule- 2 days on

    • 2 days off
    • 3 days on
    • 3 days off
    • Rotation continues year-round
  • 12-hour shifts with built-in overtime opportunities

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical failures on production equipment
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, controls, sensors, and industrial wiring
  • Repair and maintain gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, chains, couplings, pumps, and rotating equipment
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Maintain plant utilities including boilers, evaporators, wastewater treatment equipment, and compressed air systems
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
  • Document completed work in the CMMS
  • Follow OSHA safety standards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
