How You Will Succeed

Show up ready: Come prepared, stay sharp, and start strong. 

  • Arrive prepared with your station stocked, garnishes prepped, and all tools in working order
  • Maintain full knowledge of Cooper’s Hawk food, drink, and wine menus, as well as steps of service
  • Ensure opening and mid-shift checklists are completed so the bar is ready for guests from the start
  • Understand the Wine Club perks and benefits, and be ready to educate and invite our guests to the largest wine club community in the world.

Own what you see: Take responsibility, jump in, and do what needs to be done.

  • Keep your bar area clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout the shift
  • Wash and sterilize glassware as needed to prevent delays in service
  • Step in to assist with retail, Wine Club, or other team tasks when you notice a need

Stay in sync: Communicate often, move with your team, and keep service flowing.

  • Communicate clearly with Servers, Food Runners, Hosts, and the kitchen to ensure orders are accurate and timely
  • Follow Cooper’s Hawk recipes and portion standards consistently
  • Complete closing duties to set the next shift up for success

Make it personal: Be genuine, listen well, and tailor the experience.

  • Greet each guest warmly, using their name when possible, and engage in friendly conversation
  • Offer thoughtful wine, cocktail, and food recommendations based on guest preferences
  • Actively educate guests about the Cooper’s Hawk Wine Club and invite them to join

  • Present beverages with attention to detail, from creative garnishes to polished glassware

What You Will Need

  • Must represent Cooper’s Hawk Values
  • Minimum of 1 year bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar preferred
  • Strong communication and guest engagement skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic wine knowledge is a plus; willingness to learn is a must
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours per shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
