WHAT OUR GUEST SERVICE SUPERVISORS DO 

Our Guest Service Supervisors oversee daily park operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and an exceptional Guest experience. You’ll lead team members, enforce park policies, and maintain operational excellence through planning and communication. 

A GUEST SERVICE SUPERVISOR’S DAY-TO-DAY 

  • Assist the Park Manager in overseeing operational functions, ensuring smooth daily operations. 
  • Direct and supervise location activities and team members as assigned. 
  • Conduct daily facility inspections, including all Guest areas, to maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. 
  • Ensure that the location opens on time, operates efficiently, and closes properly. 
  • Maintain records in the manager’s daily log, documenting weather, inspections, performance, and other key details. 
  • Ensure ticketing and turnstile areas are stocked, cleaned, and ready for Guests at all times. 
  • Supervise and support team members to maintain high standards of Guest service. 
  • Act as a role model for team members, promoting the company's core values. 
  • Recommend, implement, and enforce company policies within assigned areas. 
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team performance. 
  • Train and audit POS handlers to ensure proper system operation and guest engagement. 
  • Address and resolve Guest concerns and complaints professionally. 
  • Monitor and assess safety hazards to ensure a secure environment for Guests and associates. 
  • Maintain accuracy and safety of company funds for assigned locations. 
  • Manage expenses, labor hours, operating costs, and inventory within areas of responsibility. 
  • Implement appropriate controls to maintain staff integrity and quality assurance. 
  • Maintain open communication across all levels of the organization for efficient operations. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support park functions. 
  • Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. 

WHAT IT TAKES 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
  • At least one year of supervisory experience in the Guest service industry. 
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. 
  • Knowledge of amusement industry standards, health regulations, and safety protocols. 
  • Experience handling Guest and employee complaints. 
  • Proficiency in computers, cash registers, and various electronic devices. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

Typical entertainment and waterpark environment where you’ll walk, bend, and stand for extended periods, and may lift objects with some assistance. You’ll work outdoors in various weather conditions and remain highly alert throughout your shift.
