Job description

We are looking for a Room Inspector to join our team. As a Room Inspector you will ensure the guest's room meets the cleanliness standards of the hotel and the brand, adding warmth and happiness to every guest experience during their stay. Must have the ability to work independently and in teams, and lead by example. Must display effective listening and communication skills, ability to to exercise good judgement and discretion, display effective problem solving skills, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with Manager/Supervisor to check all vacant rooms each day to ensure cleanliness standards are being met.
  • Must maintain accurate/organized records of discrepancies found in guest rooms and report damage or any potential dangers to management.
  • Ensures that all housekeeping closets and carts are stocked with linen and supplies prior to leaving the day.
  • Maintain internal control of hotel's Master keys - keys must be signed out, turned in daily and kept under lock and key.
  • Assist with training new Housekeeping employees
  • Verify that items in guestroom are in good working order.
  • Operate hotel equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
