Responsibilities include: 

  • Cleans hotel rooms, hallways, linen rooms, team members, and storage areas, as directed in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with established SOP’s.
  • Is responsible for maintaining and cleaning all equipment used throughout the course of a shift, in accordance with established SOP’s.
  • Maintains proper documentation of all duties accomplished during a working shift, as directed. Reports all safety hazards or maintenance deficiencies for proper handling.
  • Abides by all security/safety measures.
  • Greets all guests throughout shift with the proper salutation and pleasant expression.
  • Performs all duties in a quiet and orderly manner.
  • Responds to any/all guest requests quickly and efficiently.
  • Reports room and hall deficiencies to PBX/Supervisor and follows up on completion.
  • Provides accurate information of property along with property events and promotions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

  • Must be physically strong, honest, self-motivated, dependable, and able to work alone, willing to learn, eagerly follows directions, and always clean and neat in appearance.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively to hotel guests, announcing arrival at door, and comprehending special requests from guests.
  • Ability to inspect and maintain areas for which responsible.
  • Must be able to use the equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, vacuum, cleaning supplies and safety equipment.
  • Ability to clean as directed at an acceptable performance rate.
  • Ability to minimally communicate and understand, in English, matters of mutual concern, such as directions, hazards or questions; if unable to speak or understand English, prior experience as a guest room attendant required
  • Willingness to learn and follow directions.
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
