TITLE Equipment Room Assistant

DEPARTMENT Athletics

REPORTS TO Athletics Equipment and Facility Coordinator

PAY RATE $15/hour


THE OPPORTUNITY

The Equipment Room Assistant will assist the Athletics Equipment and Facility Coordinator with the day-to-day operations of the Athletic Department's Equipment Room. The Assistant will be responsible for the washing and drying of the varsity team's apparel and uniforms for practices and games. The Assistant will also be responsible for the recording of uniforms that are distributed and returned for the Athletic games.


WHAT YOU WILL DO


  • Wash, dry, hang loops and uniforms per specific instructions
  • Carefully examine uniforms for stains, tears, and other imperfections before washing.
  • Treat-stained apparel and uniforms as per specific instructions before washing.
  • Track issuance and retrieval of uniforms.
  • Keep space clean and organized, including sweeping, dusting, light cleaning of the outside of laundry equipment and routine cleaning of the dryer's lint trap.
  • Keep detailed recording of tasks and issues on the shifta designated tracking sheet.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required.
