Since 1953, Tilsen Roofing has provided superior commercial roofing services throughout Southern Wisconsin. Founded by WWII veteran Cyril “Cy” Tilsen, our company was built on integrity, transparency, and responsiveness to client needs. Today, we proudly maintain long-term relationships, working on roofs we originally installed over 50 years ago. Join a team that values tradition, craftsmanship, and client trust.

As a Commercial Roofer, you have a strong background in roofing, with experience in various roofing systems and techniques. This role involves working on commercial properties, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of roofs to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Perform welding tasks as needed for metal roofing installations.

  • Conduct inspections of roofs to identify issues or areas needing repair.
  • Utilize metal stud framing techniques when required for structural support.
  • Engage in remodeling projects that involve roofing elements.
  • Execute concrete forming tasks as necessary for roof foundations or supports.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience as a roofer or in a related construction field.
  • Strong knowledge of safety practices within the construction industry.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
