Salary: Guaranteed $144 per event

Record-A-Hit Entertainment (RAH) is a full-service party rental equipment provider and specializes in entertaining people at corporate, high school, college, private residential and trade show events. Record-A-Hit was established in 1986 by Rob Broms when Karaoke was becoming popular. RAH was frequently hired to do Karaoke and subsequently asked to record each performance, hence the name Record-A-Hit. What originated as a karaoke company on the North Side of Chicago soon grew to include inflatables, portable roller-skating rinks, rides, photo booths, arcade games and over 350 unique attractions. RAHs reputation grew as an ethical, fun and dependable company that created events for communities, schools, individuals, park districts, villages and corporations. RAH offices and warehouse, are now located in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and we serve clients nationwide!


We are seeking dedicated and reliable Crew Members to join our team to work in the field at off-site events. The successful candidate will be responsible for starting their day at our warehouse, loading their vehicle and setting up, supervising and tearing-down entertainment attractions at various events. This position requires physical strength, problem solving, and flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, nights and in some cases out of state traveling.


THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION WITH PRIMARY WORK FROM APRIL - DECEMBER.


  • Safely transport and set up entertainment attractions, including but not limited to inflatable games, arcade machines, and interactive experiences.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly assembled and secured according to safety guidelines.
  • Unload, set-up, manage the attraction, tear-down and return the equipment back to the warehouse.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and event attendees.
  • Collaborate with team members to efficiently execute event setups and takedowns.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety and equipment handling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.


Requirements:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs without assistance.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, nights and in some cases out of state traveling.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Must be punctual, coachable and reliable.
