Watchmaker

Location: Johns Creek, GACompensation: $80,000+

A growing luxury watch service and retail organization in the North Atlanta area is seeking an experienced Watchmaker to join its team.

This individual will be responsible for the diagnosis, service, repair, restoration, assembly, testing, and quality control of a variety of mid-level and luxury timepieces. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced watchmaker looking for a long-term home with an organization investing in the continued growth of its service operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, diagnose, repair, adjust, and maintain mechanical and quartz watches.
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, lubricate, assemble, regulate, and test watch movements.
  • Troubleshoot movement, timing, winding, power reserve, and water-resistance issues.
  • Perform case disassembly/reassembly and component replacement as needed.
  • Conduct thorough quality-control testing on completed repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, professional workshop and properly care for watchmaking tools and equipment.
  • Work across a variety of luxury brands, calibers, and movement types.

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of professional watchmaking experience.
  • Rolex certification, Level 40 or higher, strongly preferred.
  • CW21 certification or comparable watchmaking credentials preferred.
  • Experience servicing multiple brands and movement types.
  • Experience working with mid-level and luxury watches.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and technical watchmaking skills.
  • Experience with brands such as Rolex, Omega, Breitling, Cartier, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, or comparable manufacturers is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship and quality.
