Job description

Position Summary

Represent clients through the full lifecycle of Florida divorce and family-law matters with strong advocacy, sound judgment, timely communication, and compassionate service.

Key Responsibilities

·       Manage an assigned caseload from intake and pleadings through mediation, hearing, trial, and final judgment.

·       Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement documents, and proposed orders.

·       Appear at hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials throughout Florida as assigned.

·       Maintain timely client communication and clear documentation in the case-management system.

·       Direct paralegal work, calendar deadlines, and collaborate with the legal team on case strategy.

·       Meet ethical, quality, productivity, and client-service standards.

Required Qualifications

·       Active, unrestricted membership in The Florida Bar.

·       Family-law litigation experience in Florida.

·       Strong legal writing, negotiation, courtroom, and client-management skills.

·       Ability to manage competing deadlines and a full caseload.

·       Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for proceedings when required.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Three or more years of family-law experience.

·       Trial experience and familiarity with Florida family-law rules.

·       Rocket Matter or comparable case-management experience.
