Job description

DESCRIPTION
  • The Fitness Sales Associate is a vital part of the RockBox Fitness team, focusing on membership and gear sales, lead management, and member engagement
  • This role requires exceptional communication skills, a proactive sales approach, and a commitment to maintaining an organized and welcoming front desk environment
  • The Fitness Sales Associate plays a key role in driving our studio's growth and member satisfaction
  • Sales and Lead Management: Handle all Club Ready tasks, make a minimum of 50+ calls during class, and achieve daily targets of 200 activities (calls, texts, or emails), 8 bookings, and 1-2 sales
  • Your activities should roughly break down into 50% phone calls, 45% text messages, and 5% emails
  • Membership and Gear Sales: Successfully close sales when new prospects are brought to the front desk and sell apparel & supplements
  • Obtain new member referrals
  • Member Engagement: Build trust and rapport with First Time Experience (FTE) prospects and establish relationships with all members, starting with learning their names
  • Engage with members on social media and participate in a minimum of two classes per week
  • Front Desk Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area
  • Restock gear and merchandise
  • Class Assistance: Assist during and between classes as necessary, including resetting and cleaning equipment for the next session, and demonstrating exercises to members in need
  • Marketing: Carry out traditional marketing efforts, write "thank you" & "birthday" cards for members.
  • Taking class video and milestone pictures for social media posts.
  • Closing shift 4-7pm Monday-Thursday. Some Friday's and Saturday's

REQUIREMENTS
  • Must demonstrate an ability to multitask, be comfortable making sales calls, and maintain a positive, engaging demeanor at all times
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including some weekends
  • Prior experience in sales, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry
