Torch Fitness, a division of Valet Living, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Rock Climbing Instructor to lead engaging climbing sessions at Tava Waters, located at 9099 East Mississippi Avenue, Denver, CO 80247.
This is your opportunity to share your love of climbing in a premium community environment while creating a safe, welcoming, and confidence-building experience for residents of all skill levels.

Who You Are
  • Passionate about rock climbing and helping others build confidence and skills.
  • Experienced teaching or coaching climbers of varying experience levels.
  • Current CPR/AED certification (required).
  • Must hold all certifications required to teach rock climbing and safely train, belay, harness, and supervise participants.
  • Fitness certification, climbing instructor certification, or a related degree is preferred.
  • Insured or willing to obtain professional liability insurance.
  • Professional, reliable, and committed to maintaining the highest safety standards.
What You'll Do
  • Lead safe, engaging, and inclusive rock climbing sessions for residents.
  • Teach proper climbing techniques, safety procedures, equipment use, and climbing etiquette.
  • Properly fit, inspect, and secure harnesses and other climbing equipment before each session.
  • Ensure all participants are safely supervised and follow established climbing safety protocols.
  • Arrive 10-15 minutes early to prepare equipment and welcome participants.
  • Use our simple digital tools to clock in and track attendance.
  • Represent Torch Fitness with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a commitment to exceptional resident experiences.
