Asa Behavior Coach at River Rock Academy, you will guide and mentor students by promoting positive decision-making, self-regulation, and social growth. You‘ll provide structure and behavioral support while maintaining safety and collaboration across the school community.

What You‘ll Need

  • Bachelor‘s degree in human services, behavioral science, or related field preferred

  • Experience supporting children or adolescents with behavioral or emotional challenges

  • Knowledge of positive behavior interventions and crisis management techniques

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and consistent in high-stress situations

What You‘ll Do

  • Mentor students to develop problem-solving, self-control, and decision-making skills

  • Monitor behavior, enforce expectations, and maintain student accountability

  • Respond to crisis situations using approved safety and de-escalation techniques

  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student success

  • Document behavioral incidents and progress accurately and promptly
