A rock band is a group of musicians who perform rock music, a genre that originated in the 1950s and is characterized by the use of electric guitars, bass, drums, and vocals. Typically, a rock band consists of members who play different instruments, such as the lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, drums, and sometimes keyboards or other instruments.
