Regional Sales Manager General Summary

In conjunction with the Internal Sales Team and Technical Sales Team, drives the overall Company business strategy. Develops and executes sales business plans and strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier to key customers within the defined region. 

Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities

  • Manages a set of assigned budgeted accounts within the defined region.
  • Works in conjunction with the Internal Sales Representative and Technical Manager to increase sales of Rochester Electronics products and services to customers in accordance with agreed strategies and business plans.  
  • Identifies major opportunities, gathers information, and develops strategies utilizing all available resources to grow the account base within the region.  
  • Manages the full sales cycle including lead generation, qualifying business opportunities, creating and delivering sales presentations, creating sales proposals, negotiating sales, and closing the deal. 
  • Manages accurate and timely forecasting of new business opportunities and revenue for the region and ensures Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is utilized and maintained on a daily basis. 
  • Provides effective communication and service to customer base and effectively navigates internally to influence decisions and priorities on active business opportunities.  

 Regional Sales Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.  
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales and management experience.  
  • Strong technical sales experience and a proven track record of successfully selling high-tech product solutions.  
  • Strong working knowledge of the semiconductor industry is preferred.  
  • Ability to travel.  
  • Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with customers and prospects.  

Salary Range

  • 114,920 to 126,780.
