Position Summary
The Engineering Technology Instructor position in Business, Industry, & CIS is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in engineering and technology-related disciplines. The role supports student learning through multiple instructional modalities and contributes to program effectiveness across assigned campuses. Faculty are expected to maintain academic standards while adapting to evolving instructional needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
Courses to Be Taught
โ€ข May include core and specialized courses in the A.S. in Engineering Technology degree and related college credit certificates. Specializations in the degree include Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management. Certificates include Robotics and Simulation Technician, Mechatronics, and Engineering Technology Support Specialist.
Instruction
โ€ข Teach courses in engineering and technology-related disciplines across associate and baccalaureate programs
โ€ข Deliver instruction in multiple modalities, including in-person, asynchronous online, and synchronous online formats
โ€ข Conduct in-person laboratory instruction at the Orange Park Campus
Program Support
โ€ข Support student learning outcomes and maintain academic standards within the department
โ€ข Adapt instructional methods to meet diverse student and program needs
Administration
โ€ข Teach courses at multiple campuses as assigned
โ€ข Comply with institutional policies, procedures, and scheduling requirements
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
โ€ข Master's degree in a related field such as Engineering, Computer-Integrated Manufacturing, Electronics Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or Networking Services; OR
โ€ข Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in a combination of qualifying fields
โ€ข Teaching experience preferred
โ€ข Ability to teach in-person, online, and hybrid modalities
โ€ข Ability to travel between campuses as assigned
โ€ข Successful completion of background check, employment/reference verification, and drug screening
