Job description

Robotics Educator


About the Position

The Robotics Educator will teach students ages 6-15 principles of coding, robotics, and

engineering using LEGO robots. The educator will also teach principles of team work,

leadership, and social interaction.


Educators will receive instruction on how to teach these concepts. Code N Bots is a small and

rapidly growing company, coaches may be asked to assist in administrative functions and

company marketing efforts, which might include attending educational conventions to recruit

students.


Other responsibilities include maintaining LEGO organization, keeping workspaces organized

and clean, and following Robot Lab opening and closing procedures.


Position is part time and hours are negotiable.


Minimum Requirements


Must pass background check

Highschool diploma and extensive teaching experience with youth 6-15 years old OR a

bachelors degree in teaching

Adept at Mechanical and Coding Concepts - quick learner

Demonstrate willingness and ability to work with a wide range of learning styles and abilities

among the students.

Enthusiastic about teaching young people (ages 6-15) and is capable of guiding them in

learning principles of Coding and Robotics.


Ideal Candidate

Extensive teaching experience and a bachelor's degree in a technical subject such as

engineering, physics, math, computer science.


Candidate will embrace the Code N Bots entrepreneurial and fast changing landscaping, by

taking on responsibilities that may include administrative functions and marketing efforts.
