As our next Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Johnson Electric’s global customer base and driving product strategy within the Robotics industry. You will lead commercial strategy, influence product roadmaps, and collaborate closely with Engineering and Project teams to successfully deliver awarded programs while ensuring profitable growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Developing and driving commercial business strategies for assigned market segments
  • Leading pricing, incentive, service, and contract negotiations to secure profitable business
  • Managing P&L performance of assigned global customer accounts
  • Consolidating customer and market requirements to define product roadmaps and new business pipelines
  • Collaborating with Product Engineering and Project teams to execute roadmaps and deliver awarded programs
  • Monitoring market trends and initiating new product strategies aligned with customer demand
  • Presenting product roadmaps and growth strategies at Annual Strategic Planning Reviews
  • Building and maintaining strong, long‑term relationships with global customers
  • Establishing and monitoring global pricing strategies and recommending adjustments as required
  • Managing pricing risks related to raw material cost changes, exchange rates, and volume shifts
  • Coordinating tooling and fixture schedules with internal tool rooms and external vendors
  • Supporting margin optimization through commercial concessions and total‑package business solutions
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in the Robotics or Cobot industry, with strong exposure to:
    • Motion and drive solutions
    • Product design and development
    • Market and competitive analysis
  • Strong global customer management experience preferred
  • Engineering knowledge in micro‑motors, sensors, actuators, or application engineering
  • Solid business acumen with strong commercial judgment
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience working in international, cross‑cultural environments
  • Fluency in English required; Mandarin Chinese preferred (but not mandatory)
