Job description

Tech Lead, Perception โ€“ Robotics, Autonomy โ€“ $220-240k โ€“ Plus bonus and cash stock options โ€“ A leading Autonomy/Robotics company

A leading, wellโ€‘known Autonomy/Robotics company, responsible for disrupting the ADAS industry are looking for a Tech Lead to join and take ownership of an existing Perception team.

The ideal candidate would have previous experience:

  • Leading the design, development, validation, and deployment of perception systems for autonomous vehicles.
  • Defining both software and hardware architecture of perception systems.
  • Manage a growing Perception team and own the longโ€‘term Perception roadmap and strategy.
  • Partner closely with both engineering and product stakeholders
  • Experience managing technical projects
  • Experienced in algorithmic development for perception stacks (LIDAR, Camera, etc.). Direct experience with sensors is preferred.
  • Deployed perception stacks to robots, autonomous vehicles, or other realโ€‘time systems
  • Strong software development skills in C++ and Python,
  • Background in ROS/ROS 2
  • M.S. / PhD (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Robotics, Computer Vision.
