Position for a Field Technician ( Industrial Robotic Systems Operator ) in Pittsburgh, PA
We are seeking a field technician to perform industrial inspections using robotic and remote-controlled sensor equipment ( including wall-climbing robots ) and to service that equipment between assignments. In the field, you'll operate the robots to carry out inspections. Out of the field, you'll maintain and repair their electromechanical components, including gears, motors, cameras, actuators, control boxes, and cables.
- Perform in-field inspections at customer sites using robotic sensor equipment
- Operate robotic inspection equipment in industrial environments
- Maintain, repair, and clean robotic equipment between field assignments
- Complete trip reports, expense reports, and related field paperwork
Qualifications :
- Relevant experience in oil and gas or similar industrial environments ( field technician, field service technician, field robotics technician, industrial robotics service technician, electro-mechanical technician, robotics operator, field inspection technician, etc )
- Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical devices and tools
