Job description

RPA Engineer (Journeyman)

OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm that supports Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties

OCT currently has an opening for a RPA Engineer to work with our federal client.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Lead the analysis of business processes to identify automation opportunities.
  • Design and document Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions.
  • Ensure best practices are followed in RPA development and deployment.
  • Provide technical guidance on the implementation of RPA solutions.
  • Support business transition services by improving operational efficiency through automation

Requirements

  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS), with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience or Master's degree (MA/MS), with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Experience: 4 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of relevant experience with Master's Degree or 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a formal degree. Relevant experience includes business process automation, requirements analysis, and RPA solution design. Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in support of federal government agencies. Experience with the USCG or DHS is a plus.
  • Certifications: UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer or Legacy UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) or UiADP certification
  • Clearance Requirements: Must be able to undergo and successfully complete a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12 qualifying Tier 2 background investigation for Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.
  • Location/on-site requirements: Primarily on-site in Washington, DC, with off-site remote work authorized on a situational, case-by-case basis.
